An elegant Hollywood Regency-style table lamp, a decorative movement that transformed lighting into a luxury item. Inspired by the glamour of American cinema in the 1930s and 1940s, this aesthetic style experienced a renewed boom in Europe during the second half of the 20th century, particularly in France and Italy, where designers and manufacturers reinterpreted its codes with a marked influence from contemporary design.
The piece features a structure of great formal balance, centered around an inverted truncated pyramid body made of molded glass with vertical grooves that amplify the light’s refractive effects. The gold-plated metal profile frames the Lucite, while the stepped base, with its clean lines, provides visual stability and evokes the refined geometry of Art Deco, one of the main sources of inspiration for the Hollywood Regency style.
