The slender silhouette and the combination of wood, brass, and parchment place this lamp within the context of mid-20th-century French decorative furniture, still rooted in artisanal tradition but progressively refined toward more modern forms. The shaft is composed of two turned, stylized wooden sections, joined by brass elements that lend rhythm and lightness to the overall design.
The tripod base, crafted from slender metal profiles, reinforces the piece’s verticality and is a hallmark of the contrast between the warmth of the textured wood and the coldness of the metal. The conical parchment shade, finished with hand-stitching, provides soft, diffused light and underscores the refined character of a lamp designed both as a source of ambient lighting and as a sculptural element within the interior.
