"Shepherd with dog".

Bronze sculpture made in round bulk representing the figure of a small boy holding in his hands a dog, which rests his head on his knees. The piece has been conceived with a 360º view, with the intention of being observed by the spectator following the perimeter of the round base. The rear area is worked with the same detail as the front area. It should be noted that this type of work reached great popularity during the nineteenth century, with a developed middle class bourgeoisie, who sought to decorate their family environments with works of art that showed taste, cultural knowledge and social status.
