"Panther" and "Couple".
Hand carved wood.
One of them dated 1941 on the back.
Measurements: 16 x 25 cm and 23,5 cm (diameter).

This pair of soffits is framed within the period and the Art Deco style. One of them has the representation of a panther, Art Deco animal par excellence. The disparate and contorted positions of the pair give evidence of its Art Deco influence.
