Member of the Royal Photographic Society. Ramón Siscart started in photography in the seventies while studying Industrial Engineering in Madrid. Between 1998 and 2015 he developed his professional activity with his own studio in Soria, combining it with curatorial work. His work has been present in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Spain and Portugal, as well as in specialized publications and competitions. Among his most recognized projects are the series Deshabitar, focused on abandoned spaces and everyday objects as an evocation of memory and the passage of time, and Blanco, presented at the Portuguese Center of Photography (Oporto, 2023) and at the Photomuseum in Zarautz (2024). Also in 2025 he exhibited Castell in Llorenç del Penedès. He has promoted collective initiatives such as Hablemos de imagen (2012) and has been part of the group Diez Miradas with the exhibition Identidades. He has published more than ten books and photobooks, including Entropías (2004), Poligonal (2015), Microclimas (2019), Días de cuarentena (2020), Anabatos (2022), Blanco (2023), Aire (2024), Fotogramas (2025) and Castell (2025). His work is characterized by a slow and reflective gaze, where the everyday and the abandoned become visual metaphors of memory, identity and the imprint of time.
