DESCRIPTION
DALÍ I DOMÈNECH, Salvador (Figueras, Girona, 1904 - 1989).

Measurements: 3.8 x 3 cm.
This collaboration represents the culmination of Dalí's "Nuclear Mysticism", a stage where the artist fused Christian iconography with the theories of atomic physics. The design seeks to convey the idea of a weightless divinity, replacing the traditional rigid cross with curved forms that seem to float in space, thus eliminating the feeling of suffering to focus on geometric perfection. The collaboration with Lincoln Mint was pivotal in his career, causing his painterly visions to be transformed into "tactile sculptures," elevating jewelry to the status of conceptual art. This locket is, in essence, a surrealist amulet that captures Dalí's obsession with the fourth dimension and modern spirituality.
