In this work, the personal composition of the painter is appreciated, in which a group of characters intermingled in an agitated way, with an urban scene as a backdrop. This work shows his inheritance from Paris, reflected in the treatment of light and the atmosphere that surrounds the whole.

Born in France, where his family went after the war, the artist Monteagudo settled in Fuentealbilla during the 70's, in which La Mancha town he dedicated himself to capture the light, studying it and reflecting it in his works. Monteagudo developed his career in a manner close to impressionism, due to his sketchy and agile brushstrokes reflected in his compositions, combined with a particular expressionism, reflected in the faces and attitudes of his characters.
During his career, Monteagudo's works have been exhibited in various international collections in Paris, London, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, Venice, Amsterdam and Madrid.
With a sure and light stroke, Monteagudo reveals a permanent evolution, changes that are linked to nature itself.
