Josep Olivet Legares

He began his training in Olot, and then continued his studies at the Galí Academy in Barcelona. Later he studies in Rome and in Madrid, with López Mezquita. He participates in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Madrid in 1915, and the following year he exhibits individually at the Faianç Català. His work represents a continuity of the landscape school of Olot, although with a greater chromatic richness. Olivet Legares is currently represented in the Museum of Modern Art of Olot, as well as in various private collections.
