Born in Motril although raised and trained in Barcelona, Antonio Pineda devoted himself to painting from a very young age, in a self-taught way, combining it with different jobs until 1988, when he decided to dedicate himself professionally to what until then had only been a hobby. Since 1977, however, he had begun to make his work known, through exhibitions that will multiply since the late eighties. Throughout his career he has held exhibitions in different parts of Spain, as well as in Zurich, Geneva, Paris, Las Vegas, San Diego and New York.
