Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Jorge de Barcelona, with studies of engraving, painting and sculpture at the School of Applied Arts of Terrassa. Between 1979 and 2006, the artist dedicated himself to teaching. His professional career has several awards, such as the Eugeni d'Ors Award and Rafael Llimona Award in the Young Painting Competition organized by the Sala Parés in Barcelona or the First Prize of the IX Biennial of Painting Ciutat de Terrassa. Novellón is considered to belong to the group of artists who, influenced by the avant-garde currents of the 20th century, have wanted to experiment with art in search of utopian experiences. [2 ] There are works of his in the Museum of contemporary art of Ibiza, in the Museum of modern art of Barcelona and in the Museum of Terrassa.
