DAVID GARRIDO, (Valencia, 1985).
"Barlovento".
Stainless steel with iron. Technique of forging, welding and polishing. Finished with varnish.

Measurements: 67 x 25 x 16 cm.
Self-taught artist who has put to the service of sculpture his experience in the forge of iron and his excessive fondness for the world of bullfighting. These pieces are born of his profession as a blacksmith and his vocation for bullfighting. His works, endowed with a very strong personality, manage to capture many of the emotions and feelings of fans of the world of bullfighting and the world of sculpture.
He discovered, almost out of necessity, that he could turn something as hard and barren as iron. In the family workshop, taking advantage of the little free time and extending the working day, he managed to create his first piece. His works exude respect for the material, for sculpture and for the world of the bull. In 2017 he won the first edition of the Bullfighting Fine Arts Competition.
