The painter Antonio Collado developed an interest in painting from childhood, and in 1973, at the age of seventeen, he held his first exhibition at the Chamber of Commerce in his hometown. Since then, he has held exhibitions regularly, both in Spain and abroad. He is self-taught and began his career with figurative art, gradually evolving toward Informalism and, currently, focusing on the exploration of expressive abstraction. Since 1988, he has also been working in sculpture, printmaking, and lithography. He has received numerous awards, and his work is currently included in various public and private collections.
