A painter and lithographer, Esteve Casanova-Zapata has developed a visual language that lies halfway between abstraction and figuration, with an informalist influence and a palette tending toward monochromatic tones. Throughout his career, he has held exhibitions in Spain and abroad, most notably the group exhibition held in 1993 at the Marugame Hirai Museum in Japan. He has also held solo exhibitions at venues such as the Tres d’Oros in Palma de Mallorca (1992) and the Anna Benach in Barcelona (1996).
