DESCRIPTION

Dish. Catalonia, 18th century.
Hand-painted ceramic.
It presents breakage in the foot of the base, flaws in the polychrome and flaws in the polychrome.
Measurements: 7.5 x 21 cm.
Following the basic guidelines of Catalan pottery, this dish has a figurative representation on its seats (a bird and branches), dominated by blue on white engobe. The sensitivity of the craftsmen, European and Eastern influences and successive technical innovations gave the work of Catalan potters a unique character.

COMMENTS

Presenta rotura en el pie de la base, descantillados y faltas en la policromía.
