Measurements: 73 x 31 x 31 cm.
Vase made of polychrome and glazed ceramic. Ornamentally the work shows a design inspired by figurative motifs starring animals and ornamental elements of Renaissance character, this being a period of splendor of Triana ceramics.
The design is starred by angels that are inscribed on a yellow background decorated with vegetal and geometric motifs. Triana was a very popular center of pottery production since Roman times. Later the Arabs included in terms of technique and aesthetics of ceramic production in the area. At the end of the 15th century, Niculoso Francisco Pisano moved to the area and introduced the Italian style and a new technique in which the tile is worked like an oil painting.
