Signed, dated and located.
Measurements: 15.5 x 23.5 cm (the largest); 12.5 x 20 cm (the smallest); 29 x 38 cm (frames, all of equal size).
Painter and watercolorist, Josep Guardiola held his first individual exhibition at the Layetanas Galleries in Barcelona in 1933. Subsequently he continued to show his work in personal exhibitions, and also participated in important group exhibitions such as those of the Associació d'Artistes Independents. Guardiola specialized in still life and landscape, always with a distinctly Mediterranean character. Among his disciples Rodolf Saval is worth mentioning.
