Italian architect and designer, Pierluigi Spadolini was the brother of politician Giovani Spadolini, several times Minister of the Republic and Head of Government in 1981 and 1982. Among his best known works we can mention the Headquarters of La Nazione (1961 - 1965), the Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence (1974), the Spadolini Pavilion in the Fortezza da Basso (1974 - 1976) - which takes his name - and the Palace of Justice in Turin (1994-1998).
