Modular shelving system of exceptional design and versatility, conceived to offer a flexible and adaptable arrangement to different spaces and needs. This type of furniture, characteristic of French modern luxury of the late 1960s and 1970s, responds to an architectural aesthetic based on visual lightness, transparency and contemporary functionality.
Its modular nature allows not only multiple storage configurations, but also its use as a room divider, elegantly dividing spaces without resorting to permanent elements.
Founded in 1950 by Jacques Roche, Roche Bobois established itself from the beginning as a key firm in the distribution of the best contemporary French furniture, influenced by the Bauhaus, and in the edition of projects by leading designers such as Pierre Paulin or Marc Berthier. In the 60's it expanded its catalog to Scandinavian design, remaining to this day as one of the most important international houses in the edition and selective distribution of high-end furniture.
