Max Bill table lamp, designed by Miguel Milá, one of the references of modern Spanish design in the sixties. The piece combines structural rationality and material warmth, essential features in Milá's work.

It features a red lacquered metal shade with a rounded profile and compact volume, which contrasts with the circular wooden base and curved brass supports. The combination of metal, wood and brass creates a balance between industrial modernity and material sophistication, characteristic of Spanish design at the time.

Its clear silhouette and honest construction reflect Milá's interest in refined functionality and quality materials, within a modern language of timeless elegance.

Miguel Milá initially collaborated in the office of Federico Correa and Alfonso Milà. In 1958 he set up his own business as an industrial designer. He witnessed the birth of Spanish industrial design in the early 1960s, and throughout his long career he has been awarded the ADI FAD Delta de Oro prize six times, the first time in 1961, for the "TMC" lamp. He was also awarded the National Design Award in 1987, the Sant Jordi Cross in 1993, and in 2010 the CoNCA National Culture Award.
