Sculptural bottle holder designed by David Marshall, made entirely of solid brass and signed on the handle. It features a distinctive design with organic lines and a knob mechanism that secures the bottle. The surface retains an attractive natural patina in golden tones.
David Marshall was born in Edinburgh in 1942 and settled in Spain in 1965. From Benahavís, Málaga, he developed a highly personal body of work in aluminum, brass, and bronze, inspired by the landscape of southern Spain and characterized by textured surfaces, hand-finished details, and a distinct sculptural sensibility. His metal pieces have established themselves as collectible objects within the realm of signature Spanish design from the second half of the 20th century.
