In good overall condition. Shows patina, wear, and signs of oxidation consistent with its age. Wiring has been inspected and is in working order.

Italian floor lamp made of patinated metal, designed as a sculptural structure inspired by plants. The body is composed of curved tubular arms that support multiple metal sheet “leaves,” cut out and shaped with veins to accentuate their volume and naturalistic appearance. The light sources are positioned beneath the leaves, creating indirect lighting and reinforcing the piece’s theatrical character.
Its formal language, based on the reinterpretation of plant motifs through crafted and patinated metal structures, is linked to the naturalist and organicist movement in Italian design of the 1960s and 1970s. These approaches found particular expression in the field of Italian decorative lighting, where metal became a medium for compositions with a distinctly sculptural character. Due to its formal characteristics, the piece shares affinities with certain works by Tommaso Barbi and Carlo Giorgi, as well as with the design language developed by Bottega Gadda.
