Italian dining table, made around 1980, featuring a design characterized by a large rectangular top of clear glass resting on two solid lacquered wood bases, conceived with an angular geometry reminiscent of large architectural trestles. The structure thus takes on an almost monumental presence, while the transparency of the glass visually lightens the overall piece and allows the lower construction to be fully appreciated. The rich yellow lacquer finish gives the table a quality particularly characteristic of Italian design from the late 1970s and early 1980s.
