Designer bench attributed to the Pentagon Group, a key collective in the German radical design scene of the 1980s. Formed in 1985 by designers such as Wolfgang Laubersheimer, Reinhard Müller, and Meyer Voggenreiter, the group developed a distinctly constructivist aesthetic, characterized by the use of visible structures, industrial materials, and deliberately austere forms.
The piece features an architectural composition of great visual impact, in which the metal structure takes center stage and becomes an essential part of the furniture’s formal language.
