Sculptor and painter formed in Barcelona, in the School of La Llotja, Martín Carral extended his knowledge in the Artistic Circle of the same city and finally he graduated in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. An established artist, Carral has exhibited his work in Spain, Slovenia, France, Portugal and Morocco, and is a regular at fairs such as Arco, ArtMadrid and ArteSantander. He has received important awards and grants, including the Marcelino Botín Foundation and a residency at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris. He is represented in the Museo de Bellas Artes de Santander, the Museo de Torrelaguna in Madrid, the Fundación J. Suñol in Barcelona, the Marcelino Botín in Cantabria, the Norte de Arte Contemporáneo collection, the Government of Cantabria and other public and private collections.
