This Art Nouveau vase, characterized by its organic forms and flowing lines evoking nature, presents distinctive elements such as floral and vegetal ornamentation in relief, inspired by the sinuous curves of plants and flowers. It has two handles that integrate harmoniously into the overall design, with curved shapes that complement the body of the vase, which displays detailed decorations of intertwined leaves and branches.

Francesc Madurell i Torres, "François Madurell", was a modernist sculptor. We know very little about this sculptor, he participated in the I Saló del Artistes Independents in 1907 and in the International Art Exhibition in 1911. He was a designer of commemorative medals. He collaborated with Dománech i Montaner in the Hospital de Sant Pau designing the ceramic pieces with relief in the administration of the pavilion and in the decoration of the chapels of the Casa de les Punxes on Diagonal Avenue. He moved to France under the pseudonym "François Madurell", where he created jewelry boxes and tin vases. In 1960 he returned to Spain and combined his life between Barcelona and Madrid.
