Charles Théodore Perron was a sculptor active in Paris, known mainly for his genre sculptures, although he also dabbled in Art Nouveau decorative elements. A student of Falguière, Roy and Louis-Auguste Hiolin, Perron began exhibiting at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1895. His career was quickly recognized: he received an honorable mention in 1896, third (1897) and second class medals (1899), and a first class in 1910. He was also distinguished with an honorable mention at the Universal Exhibition of 1900 and participated in the Royal Scottish Academy Exhibition in 1912.
