Original Art Nouveau vase, with an elegant bulbous profile and wavy mouth, which enhances its organic silhouette. It presents a rich decoration in relief, with two heads of marine nymphs in the base and delicate vegetal motifs in the upper part, reflecting the refinement and natural inspiration typical of this style.
Hélène Sibeud was a fin-de-siècle artist of the Parisian school, active between 1885 and 1915. Many of her Art Nouveau works were marketed and signed under the name of her workshop, "Melle Sibeud", the name by which many of her pieces are identified today.
