Wilhelm Oskar Prack, a German sculptor active between the end of the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th, developed a work deeply anchored in late academicism, direct heir of the Central European academies. His production focused on allegorical subjects, portraits and nudes, in which he combined a rigorous mastery of anatomy with a sense of decorum and harmony characteristic of his training.
