Sculptor formed between Tarragona, Barcelona and Madrid, between 1894 and 1895 he traveled to Paris, where he was fascinated by the novel language of Auguste Rodin. On his return to Madrid, he became acquainted with the intellectuals of the time, especially with Nicanor Piñole and the writers of the Generation of '98, who appreciated his innovative work "Los degenerados" (1901, MNAC). In 1906 he returned to Barcelona, where the following year he showed his work at the International Art Exhibition. During these years he began to collaborate with Antoni Gaudí, whom he portrayed, and worked with him on the Batlló and Milà houses, as well as the Sagrada Familia. Few examples of his work remain today, although his creations can be found in the Gaudí House-Museum in Barcelona, the Museum of History of Tarragona, the Museum of Ourense and the MNAC.
