In this piece, Óscar Aldonza articulates a crude narrative about the violation of fundamental rights. The iconography of the uniform, which refers unequivocally to the Nazi concentrationary system, is amalgamated with the physical presence of the cage to symbolize a process of absolute dehumanization. The work transcends the denunciation of confinement to become a device of historical memory, questioning the viewer about the alarming fragility of individual and collective freedom in contemporary societies.

The work of Óscar Aldonza Torres focuses mainly on the human figure from an expressive and emotional perspective; trained in Volume Techniques at the EASD Mestre Mateo and graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, he combines his artistic practice with teaching as a professor of sculpture, developing pieces in materials such as ceramics, bronze and iron in which he explores identity, fragility and psychological tension through a direct and procedural modeling; He has exhibited in Spain, Portugal and France, participated in competitions such as the Salon d'Automne in Paris and received recognition in symposiums and sculpture awards, establishing himself as a leading figure in contemporary Galician sculpture.
