A prominent fashion and still life photographer based in Barcelona, Javi Dardo endows his snapshots with a clearly aesthetic language in which art plays an essential role. His compositions are defined as pieces with a personality of their own and are characterised by the bold handling of shapes and colours, masterfully combining the classic and the contemporary; elegance and originality. His developed artistic talent has led Dardo to work with important fashion brands such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Pertegaz or Uniqlo. Trained in Audiovisual Communication and Fashion Photography, Dardo furthered his training in film and television companies. After a period dedicated to portrait and product photography, in which he shot catalogues for art galleries and auction houses, the Barcelona-born photographer turned his talent to fashion photography, specialising in the sector at a dizzying pace. He currently works exclusively in the world of fashion, shooting campaigns, lookbooks and e-commerce for national and international brands and fashion editorials for magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, L'Officiel, Vanidad, Neo2 and Fucking Young.
