Martí Anson is a Catalan conceptual artist of international renown. His work is part of the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona and the Palais de Tokyo. He has numerous exhibitions to his credit, in which as a multidisciplinary and playful artist he has put himself in the shoes of an "architect" (Buenos días, Sala Montcada, Fundación La Caixa, 1999-2000 and L'Apartament, Galería Toni Tàpies, 2002), a "footballer" (La angustia del portero ante el penalti, Iconoscope, Montpellier, 2001), a "film director" (Walt & Travis, Wexner Center in Columbus, Ohio, USA, 2003), a "boat builder" (Walt & Travis, Wexner Center in Columbus, Ohio, USA, 2003), a "boat builder" (The Anguish of the Goalkeeper before the Penalty, Iconoscope, Montpellier, 2001), a "filmmaker" (Walt & Travis, Wexner Center in Columbus, Ohio, USA, 2003), "boat builder" (Fitzcarraldo, Santa Monica Art Center, 2004-2005), and "bricklayer", constructing a replica of a building in the United States with the aim of contributing to the preservation of local heritage (Martí and the flour factory, Lucky 7, Site Santa Fe Biennial, New Mexico, USA, 2008). He has also been a "transporter", trying to transport a factory from Mataró, his hometown, to Lyon (Martí and the Chocolate Factory, Rendez-vous 09. X Biennial of Lyon. Frac Villaurbane) and wall painter, painting the walls of a gallery in the colors of two soccer teams and their results (El precio de los colores, Galeria Toni Tàpies, 2009-2010).
