Member of the Royal Photographic Society. Photography is the great passion of María Rosa de las Heras, a form of expression that makes her feel alive and allows her to capture her feelings, experiences, dreams and even her fears. Convinced that photography is an art in constant learning, she has dedicated her career to exploring its many facets and creative possibilities.
She is a member of the Real Sociedad Fotográfica de Madrid and has received solid training in prestigious institutions. She holds the title of University Expert in Applied Professional Photography from the EFTI School of Photography in Madrid, as well as a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Photography at the International School PhotoEspaña (PIC.A) in Alcobendas. She has also expanded her knowledge in contemporary, documentary and auteur photography through courses and workshops with renowned photographers such as Nicolás Combarro, Cristina García Rodero, Ángel Marcos, Jesús Mico and Julio Álvarez Yagüe.
His work has been recognized in numerous photographic competitions. In 2022, she won first prize for the best black and white photographic series in the Final Contest of the Real Sociedad Fotográfica de Madrid and was selected in the prestigious "Caminos de Hierro" contest of the Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles. She has also been highlighted by PhotoEspaña on several occasions, participating in exhibitions in Alicante and Salamanca.
Over the years, she has exhibited her work in various solo and group exhibitions, consolidating her career in the photographic field. With each image, he seeks to convey a story, capture the essence of the everyday and reveal the beauty hidden in the most unexpected details.
