Anton Cobijn immortalizes in this portrait Bek David Campbell, birth name of the American musician, singer, songwriter and producer known worldwide as Beck. His career, spanning more than three decades, is characterized by constant experimentation and a unique ability to fuse musical genres.

Anton Corbijn is a world-renowned photographer and director of film and music videos, celebrated for his distinctive visual style, often in black and white, and for his close relationship with the world of music. His unmistakable style is characterized by the use of high-contrast, often grainy black and white, which adds an atmosphere of intensity and timelessness to his portraits. His portraits are intimate and move away from artificial poses to capture the essence and vulnerability of his subjects. His photographs convey a sense of intimacy and emotional truth. In turn he often uses natural or urban landscapes as backdrops, integrating the subject into the environment to tell a larger story. Corbijn's career is intrinsically linked to music. He began his career as a rock photographer and quickly became the go-to photographer for some of the most influential bands in history (Depeche Mode, U2, Joy Division or New Order). On the big screen, his most acclaimed work is the direction of the film "Control" (2007), a biopic about the life of Ian Curtis, the singer of Joy Division, which perfectly captures the atmosphere of his black and white photography. He subsequently directed films such as "The American" (2010), starring George Clooney, and "A Most Wanted Man" (2014), based on a novel by John le Carré.
