Dmitry Savchenko's photography is situated at the crossroads between art, scene and portrait, capturing the human and symbolic dimension of great opera and ballet figures. His elegant and precise gaze has made his work a point of reference in the international stage scene.
Dmitry Savchenko is an internationally recognized photographer. His work has been requested by some of the world's most prestigious theatrical institutions, including The Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Paris National Opera, the Teatro alla Scala, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Bolshoi Theatre and the Mariinsky Theatre, as well as by important campaigns linked to dance and the performing arts.
Between 2006 and 2018 he participated in 29 international exhibitions dedicated to dance legends, including high-profile institutional shows, such as the one held in Los Angeles in 2010 during the visit of Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna Romanova. His work is part of prominent private collections in Europe and the United States, including the collection of the Imperial Romanov family, the Princely House in Ligne and the Zamoyski Museum in Koz?ówka, Poland.
