Founded in Barcelona in 1839, Masriera achieved a central position in Modernist jewelry thanks to Lluís Masriera, who, beginning in 1901, profoundly renewed the firm’s aesthetic by integrating French cloisonné techniques with Symbolist and Naturalist-inspired motifs. Nymphs, female figures, insects, and plant forms became part of an unmistakable repertoire, characterized by technical delicacy and rich colors.
