Architectural Projects Collection. Enrico Marconi, known in Poland as Henryk Marconi, was an Italo-Polish architect who spent most of his career in the Kingdom of Congress.
He received his first teachings from his father, Leandro Marconi, and between 1806 and 1810 he studied at the University of Bologna and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. In 1822 he was hired by General Ludwik Micha? Pac to finish the construction of his palace in Dowspuda, a territory that at that time belonged to the Congress Kingdom and is now located in northeastern Poland. He later settled in Warsaw, where from 1827 he worked for the Council of State and, between 1851 and 1858, he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts.
