Made entirely of walnut wood, this chest has a rich and deep patina that highlights the natural grain of the wood. Walnut was chosen not only for its intrinsic beauty, but also for its durability and strength, which has allowed this piece to survive to this day. The top has a hinged lid and the interior has a large compartmentalized space. It rests on carved lion feet.
