Set of fifty Ex Libris, of various sizes and designs. The word ex libris, Latin for "From among books", refers to a printed, engraved or decorative label affixed to a book, often on the front flyleaf, to indicate ownership. Ex libris usually have a motif related to the owner of the book, such as a coat of arms, a badge, a motto or a design commissioned from an artist or designer. The most traditional technique used to make ex libris is burin engraving.
