French painter, engraver, illustrator and designer. Max Schoendorff was influenced by great figures of surrealism, particularly by Max Ernst. He worked, among others, with Planchon in the theater, as well as with the Staubs and Jacques Rosner. He created the URDA project "Utopie Raisonee pour les Droits de la Liberte en Art". Max Schoendorff's painting is organic. It is an echo of a vegetable and animal world. His works can be found in museums all over the world: André-Malraux Museum of Modern Art (Le Havre), Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-Étienne Métropole, Museum of Grenoble, Paul-Dini Museum of Villefranche-sur-Saône, Lyon, Museum of Art and History of Geneva) at the FRAC (Regional Fund of Contemporary Art) Ile-de-France and Rhône-Alpes or FNAC (National Fund of Contemporary Art), acquired or donated by the collectors' sponsors (Michel Descours12, André Dubois, Françoise Dupuy-Michaud, Jean-Paul Jungo Gilbert Monin and others). The Lyon Museum of Fine Arts is endowed with a very representative collection.
