Mythological scene in which is represented a couple of lovers that cross the skies, united between them. The image lacks iconographic attributes that allow us to clearly identify the characters, although the halo that is born from the head of the young man, indicates us that it is probable that it is the representation of Apollo. Therefore, it is likely that the young woman is a muse, perhaps Cassandra with whom he had an idyll, although the young god was not fully reciprocated. One of the most remarkable features of this work is the mythological theme which came into vogue already in the Renaissance that rescued the texts with the myths relating to classical antiquity and unleashed a passion that was reflected in painting and sculpture that began to be influenced by the aesthetics and themes of classical antiquity. Although it is true that in many occasions these themes were used to represent love scenes, full of eroticism and sensuality, which could not be found in religious works.
