Lush landscape in which the artist has used a realistic aesthetic, which fits the parameters of the urban environment, specifying the drawing, although the exuberance of the same landscape gives some prominence to color. The author has captured the image from a slightly high perspective, in such a way that he has managed to create a visual panoramic, which introduces the viewer into the scene.
During the 19th century, the Cuban artistic school continued to maintain many of the aesthetic precepts and aesthetic influences that came from abroad, thus being an art that continued the pictorial translation of the West. However, this academicism gradually disappeared in favor of an interest in highlighting national values, first of all, this fact was reflected in the themes, although later a style was also enriched according to the particularities and idiosyncrasy of the country itself.
