Ángel Díaz Pine moved to Madrid in 1846, where he continued his studies under the direction of Antonio María Esquivel, until 1850. Later he lived in Barcelona, where he worked in the decoration of theaters, being conserved some of his works in the Liceo and Principal theater. Later dedicated to photography, he only picked up his brushes again to illuminate portraits. He was the author of a Practical Manual of Photography.
