DESCRIPTION
ALFREDO CLAROS GARCÍA (Marchalenes, Valencia, 1893 - Sueca, Valencia, 1965).
"Child on the beach", 1945.

Signed and dated on the right side.
It presents oxidized varnish.
Measurements: 75 x 60 cm, 97 x 82 cm (frame).
Painter of landscapes and popular subjects, Alfredo Claros was formed in the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos, in Valencia, and in 1909 he obtained the silver medal of the Mercantile Athenaeum of this same city. In 1917 he was presented in Madrid, at the National Exhibition, and the following year he was awarded the bronze medal of the Círculo Artístico in Barcelona. From then on he frequently participated in official exhibitions, and in 1925 he founded the School of Arts and Crafts in Sueca. In 1926 he moved to Paris, and the following year he held an exhibition at the prestigious Sala Parés in Barcelona.
