Initiated in the world of painting at a very early age, Angel Sevillano began to exhibit his work in the seventies in his native city. His language has evolved with the passing of time, from a direct expressionism in which the use of green and black colours prevailed, to the current figuration, in which his represented characters show a certain lyricism inherited from Chagall, always treated from a popular and everyday aesthetic. Throughout his career as an artist, he has exhibited in numerous national and international cities. The present work continues Sevillano's characteristic language, presenting us with a family portrait of a mother and daughter. The figures continue the vaporous line that characterises them, made from synthetic strokes with thick outlines. Behind them, a weightless background of a certain psychedelia places the figures in a timeless context.
