His training began at the Llotja School in Barcelona, where he met the critic Angel Marsa, who was the architect of his first exhibition at the "El Jardí" Gallery. From then on he took part in various solo and group exhibitions in Catalonia, but also in the rest of Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, the United States and Japan. In 1953 he took part in the First Biennial of Spanish-American Art and in 1960 he exhibited together with the painters of the group "Salón de Arte Moderno", in Petritxol Street in Barcelona. His painting is influenced by great expressionist painters such as Ensor and Nolde, whose work he became acquainted with on his many travels.
