Painter of self-taught formation, Bosch Roger was one of the founders of the Grouping of Catalan Artists, as well as member of the Hall of the Evolutionists. In 1911 he participated in the VI International Art Fair of Barcelona, and in 1926 his first individual exhibition took place in the Dalmau Galleries. In 1928 he showed his work in the Sala Parés, and again in 1930, in the Layetanas Galleries. His awards include the Cambó prize in the competition "Barcelona seen by its artists" (1931), of the Círculo Artístico, and the City of Barcelona Drawing Prize (1968). He participated in the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts in 1936, 1941, 1957 (gold medal) and 1960 (third medal). In 1959 the General Directorate of Fine Arts of Madrid dedicated a large retrospective exhibition to him. An eminently landscape painter, Bosch Roger combines in his work Fauvist, geometric constructivist and even abstract influences, creating meditatively ordered scenes but marked by color and brushstrokes, long, gestural and loose but very controlled. His work is preserved in the Museums of Contemporary Art of Barcelona and Madrid, the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao, the Municipal of Tossa de Mar, the collection of La Caixa Foundation and the National Bank of Colombia.
