Angel Bofarull graduated in Art History at the University of Barcelona, although he has dedicated himself to artistic practice. He usually works in small format, using a wide variety of materials and constructing surprising collages. His is a minimalist, meticulous and detailed work, which connects with surrealism thanks to its special poetics, full of dreamlike, humorous and conceptual references. In some cases, as in the one we now present, his art seems to evoke a childish, deceptively naive or naive art, full, in reality, of references and symbols. A good part of this production was exhibited in 2009-2010 at the Bancaja Foundation in Castellón, under the title "Dans une mer sans fons".
