Painter and draftsman, Jordi Pagans is formed with Josep Roca Sastre, in whose workshop he will assimilate the impressionist and cubist concepts. He was part of the group Visual Reality. He worked in landscape and still life, using the most diverse techniques. In his oil paintings he emphasizes the gestural modulation of volumes and forms, as well as the Mediterranean conception of light. He held his first individual exhibition at the Sala Municipal de Girona, followed by others at the Ateneo in Barcelona, the Sala Vayreda and the Peritxol gallery, both also in Barcelona. He has been awarded the Villa de Centelles, María Trías de Palamós and Real Círculo de Barcelona prizes, and is represented in the Reina Sofía Museum and in the museums of Valls, Vilafranca and Vilanova i la Geltrú.
