Agustí Masvidal i Salavert was a Catalan draftsman, painter, and illustrator who balanced his career as a pharmacist with an intense artistic practice. His body of work includes drawings, watercolors, and oil paintings, with a particular focus on landscapes, cityscapes, Romanesque architecture, portraits, and traditional trades. He was noted for his meticulous eye, which combined artistic sensitivity with descriptive precision—a quality particularly evident in his botanical illustrations. Closely connected to the cultural life of Sabadell, he left behind a rich visual record of the city and its surroundings. The Centre d’Art d’Època Moderna at the University of Lleida documented and cataloged more than 3,500 of his works, and in 2020, the Sabadell Art Museum dedicated the exhibition *La precisió de la mirada* to him, marking the centennial of his birth.
